In the morning of May 20th, the People’s Committee of Bình Dương Province and the Council for the Protection of Children’s Fund officially launched the 2025 Action Month for Children, along with the province’s Opening Ceremony for Summer and International Children’s Day . Themed “Prioritizing Resources to Achieve Goals Dedicated to Children,” the event brought together leaders, organizations, and businesses dedicated to child welfare. Thousands of meaningful gifts were presented to children across the province.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Bùi Minh Trí – Vice Chairman of the Bình Dương People’s Committee – emphasized the importance of robust policies and initiatives aimed at protecting and caring for children. He called for greater mobilization of social resources to support scholarships, nutrition, healthcare, and diverse cultural, athletic, and life skills programs for children in the region.
Representing the business community, Mr. Lâm Bình Vũ – Supply Chain Director of Tân Hiệp Phát Trading and Service Co., Ltd. – reaffirmed the company’s commitment:
“Children are not only the future of each family but also the future of the country. Ensuring their comprehensive development is a shared responsibility of the whole society.”
As a longstanding contributor to the Bình Dương Children’s Protection Fund, Tân Hiệp Phát presented 1,230 cases of Number 1 Soya Milk to children attending the festival. This donation reflects the company’s dedication to supporting community welfare, especially in the areas of education, sports, and essential life skills for children.
For over 30 years, Tân Hiệp Phát has collaborated with local authorities and organizations nationwide to implement meaningful CSR programs, including scholarship funds, gift-giving campaigns, and visits to disadvantaged communities. These efforts aim to build a safe, healthy, and loving environment that fosters both the intellectual and physical development of children.
Beyond annual celebrations such as International Children’s Day (June 1) and Mid-Autumn Festival, Tân Hiệp Phát continues to invest in long-term educational initiatives. The company also supports several orphanages in Bình Dương and Hồ Chí Minh City, and is currently sponsoring nearly 50 children orphaned due to COVID-19 through the “Walking With You Through Life” program in partnership with Thanh Niên newspaper.
To date, thousands of scholarships have been awarded to underprivileged yet high-achieving students in Bình Dương, Hậu Giang, Quảng Nam, and Hà Nam.
