Tân Hiệp Phát Supports Essential Renovation For a Primary School in Đắk Lắk

After a year-long renovation effort, the Buôn D’Ham satellite campus of Ea Bông Primary School in Đắk Lắk province has officially reopened. The upgraded facility is the result of a joint initiative by local authorities, Lao Động (Labour) Newspaper, beverage manufacturer Tân Hiệp Phát, and several other sponsors.

On the afternoon of June 9, a ribbon-cutting and handover ceremony was held at Ea Bông Commune, Krông Ana District, marking the official reopening of the primary school after its renovation. Despite heavy rain, more than 200 teachers, students, and parents attended the event to celebrate the school’s transformation.

Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Vũ, Chairman of the Krông Ana District People’s Committee, expressed his appreciation:

“We sincerely thank the generous sponsors—especially the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. This renovation not only improves learning conditions for ethnic minority students, but also provides motivation and peace of mind for our educators.”

The project included the refurbishment of classrooms and school grounds to meet quality standards in accordance with original design specifications.

Representing the beverage manufacturer – Tân Hiệp Phát, Ms. Vũ Phương Thanh noted,

“On behalf of our company, we are honored to join Labour Newspaper and the Krông Ana District leadership in contributing 500 million VND toward the renovation of the Buôn D’Ham campus of Ea Bông Primary School. We hope the renovated school will brings joy and provide both teachers and students with a comfortable environment for teaching and learning.”

Ms. Thanh further emphasized the company’s long-standing commitment to social responsibility:

actively partnered with government agencies and civic organizations to deliver scholarships, gifts, and support to students in underserved communities across Vietnam.

During the event, sponsors also presented 40 scholarships—each worth 500,000 VND—to disadvantaged students, further encouraging their pursuit of education.
